Fishing

If you like the open water and fishing then you came to the right location, where water abounds and the fish are practically jumping into the frying pan. Fish the area lakes that Tony Dean loved.

Webster is part of the Glacial Lakes and Prairies region which provides 120 clear, blue, gravel-bottomed lakes that were formed by glacial activity. These lakes hold an abundance of fish!  Webster is located minutes from the famous Waubay lake!  We have some of the finest fishing anywhere and have several businesses which cater to fisherman.

Hunting

Here for hunting? The area offers the best of both worlds with goose and duck hunting in the morning and pheasant hunting in the afternoon.  In the heart of the prairie pothole region, northeastern South Dakota ranks high in duck production. The Webster area is on the direct migration route for thousands of geese that make their way down the central flyway.

The ringneck pheasant, South Dakota's most sought after game species, was first introduced to the state in the heart of the Glacial Lakes and Prairies region, and can be found in healthy numbers throughout the region today. Doves, one of the most popular game birds in North America, are plentiful.   For the larger game hunter, whitetail deer are of great abundance. Predator hunting includes coyote and fox.
