SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL

CITY OF WEBSTER, SOUTH DAKOTA

            Council room, City Hall, Webster, South Dakota, April 18, 2011, at 5:30 p.m. a special meeting was held with Mayor Mike Grosek presiding.  Councilmen present:  Roger Monson, Dave Jesme, Wayne Klungseth, Morgan Dorsett and Jim Grimes; staff:    Linda Hoberg. 

            The final vote in Ward III election was Roger Monson, 65 votes, and Dennis Daly, 46 votes.  Motion by Monson, seconded by Dorsett approving the canvassing of the vote of the April 12^th election.  All councilmen voting aye.  Motion carried. 

            Motion by Klungseth, seconded by Dorsett to set a hearing on May 2, 2011, at 7:10 p.m. for a special malt beverage license for the American Legion Post #40 on June 4^th and 5^th at the Veterans Memorial Sports Complex.  All councilmen voting aye.  Motion carried.

            Council discussed the bids that were tabled at the April 4^th meeting for a skid steer loader.  Motion by Monson, seconded by Jesme to accept the bid from HC Clark Implement, Aberdeen, SD, for a 2011 Bobcat S650 Skidsteer for $31,200.00.  All councilmen voting aye.  Motion carried. 

            No further business, motion to adjourn by Jesme, seconded by Klungseth.  Motion carried.
