Location

Day County is located in the Northeastern corner of South Dakota, just minutes away from the boundaries of both North Dakota and Minnesota. This area is the heart of the Glacial Lakes, also known as the Coteau Des Prairies - "hills of the prairies." Here, the rolling hills and grasslands embrace the shores of dozens of beautiful lakes. Thus, creating an abundance of excellent recreation areas and productive wildlife habitat. Each year, thousands of hunters and fisherman flock to Day County to enjoy the abundant wildlife and fisheries Day County has to offer.
